Plastic Marine

This installation explores the issue of marine pollution by recreating an ocean-like environment. A layer of plastic wrap is suspended to mimic the look of water, with garbage like fishnets and plastic bottles placed underneath to represent hidden pollution.
Viewers are invited to sit or lie on the floor, looking up at the layers of plastic and light. At the same time, a projector is projecting marine life onto the work, creating shimmering
reflections on the walls. These reflections add to the atmosphere, making the space feel like
you’re underwater.
